I May Find Comfort Here
This series of abstract mixed-media works reflects and embodies the feelings of isolation, depression, and anxiety that have surfaced and intensified over the past year amid the global pandemic and the political and social unrest in the United States. Through these works, I explored my own experiences with anxiety and fear, as well as those expressed by friends and relatives. The process of creating this work became both cathartic and empowering, and my hope is that you, the viewer, can also find comfort here.
