heir apparent, accordion books, 78” x 6.75” heir apparent is a pair of artist books reflecting on the growth of my only son and the evolving relationship between parent and child. The larger accordion book combines handmade paper with pulp stencils, image transfers, screen prints, and pronto prints of photographs alongside notes written to me throughout the years. The smaller accordion, made from handmade kozo paper, features image transfers paired with a poem written for him in 2022.
